If you Appear in Court:
1. Follow the advice and directions of your lawyer.
2. Dress respectfully of the court, of the judge, and of the jury (if there is one).
3. Be on time (or slightly early) for any appearance.
4. Never Argue.
5. Don't smoke or chew gum. The first is illegal in New Jersey
the second does not show respect to the court.
6. If something is happening that you do not understand,
respectfully ask a question.
7. If you are scheduled for a next appearance, make sure you understand
(and copy down) when you next must appear.
8. Make sure you do not miss that appointment!
